Please accept this letter as formal notification that the City of Rigby has adjusted its upcoming annual budget public hearing date.

While the initial property tax assessment notices sent to taxpayers listed our hearing date as August 6th, the City Council will officially set the updated public hearing date for September 3rd, 2026.

To ensure full transparency and compliance with state publication requirements, the City will explicitly note this date change from August 6th to September 3rd in our upcoming legal newspaper publications.

We are providing this notice so your office can accurately advise any citizens who may call the county with questions regarding the City of Rigby budget hearing. We remain on track to submit our completed L-2 worksheet to your office well ahead of the September 10th deadline.
